The article I chose was about Apple paying $8 billion dollars to app developers. Apple said the reason behind this is because their market is booming and they want to keep their momentum. The $8 billion compares to the $7 billion that the developers made from the Apple Store. Also, the store topped at 40 billion downloads, half coming from 2012. The main reason Apple can achieve this is because of the number of apps available in their store. The more apps they have, the more downloads are made and more money is made.
