Web 2.0 Final Post

    1. What did you learn?

I learned a lot from the weekly tech articles because without those I wouldn't have payed attention to any news. I also learned about RSS feeds and that you could add them to Google Reader. Before we did that in class, I had no idea that Google Reader even existed.

    2. What could be changed?

I don't think anything in the course should be changed because we learned important and useful abilities. We've learned about modern technology from tech articles, how to successfully present products and news, and how to follow websites or people easily and effectively using RSS feeds.

    3. What tools will you continue to use?

I will continue to use RSS feeds, Wikis, and surveys. I will use RSS feeds to keep up with tech news and my favorite youtubers. I will use Wikis to find out more about certain topics or items. I will use surveys to get feedback about anything I do like making youtube videos or helping people do something.

RSS Feeds Discussion Questions

     1. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
I selected these sites because they were the main things I thought of.

     2. Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
It was easy because I knew what I was doing.

    3. Which sites were your favorites?
TheWaffleGalaxy, and all of the YouTube channel feeds.

    4. What else can you use RSS feeds for?
Staying up to date with info from certain people, info for projects school related or personal, or finding out about recent news.

    5. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
Pretty likely because of social media sites like Facebook and YouTube.

Apple is being sued for $118,000 (730K yuan) by 3 Chinese writers. The writers claim that Apple was selling some of their books without their permission. The Beijing No. 2 People's court that is hosting the trial has ruled in the favor of the authors, and charges Apple with a $118K payment to the authors. This case is the 2nd lawsuit filed against Apple by the Writers' Right Protection Union (WRPU) for copyright infringement.
